Getting started
DRACOTALON overview
DRACOTALON is a separate product: an autonomous coding tool that runs in your terminal. Give it a task in plain language and it reads your code, writes files and runs your tests, in the folder you started it from, on your real repository. It is one self-contained binary for macOS, Linux and Windows.
This page is the DRACOTALON overview while the full documentation is being brought up to date.
Two ways to run it
Download TALON free and bring your own models — or sign in with THE LAIR and run it on DRACO Brains with your EGGs.
| What it means | |
|---|---|
| The CLI, free | Free to download and use with your own models and keys. |
| In THE LAIR | Runs on DRACO Brains. It is included in every paid plan at no extra plan cost, and its use is paid in EGGs. |
Install
curl -fsSL https://github.com/DRACOCODEX/dracotalon-releases/releases/latest/download/install.sh | bash
irm https://github.com/DRACOCODEX/dracotalon-releases/releases/latest/download/install.ps1 | iex
The installer picks the right binary for your machine, verifies its checksum, and puts dracotalon on your PATH. It refuses to install a binary whose checksum it cannot verify.
In THE LAIR
If you have a LAIR account, your LAIR’s Documentation has the DRACOTALON book for your release: install, connecting to your DRACO Brain, and where DRACOTALON keeps its files.
